It's oh so quiet...

Something strange has occured, and my house is all quiet, at half past eight. Baby, boy and fella are all fast asleep, which is really quite nice. I have been having a lovely time making some doll dresses from one of my all time favorite fabrics, this beautiful liberty print babycord...

It came from a lovely treasure trove of a fabric shop, the fent shop, which lives just down the hill from me and which I just can't stay away from. I'm just getting to the end of my stock of this fabric, and they haven't any left either boo hoo.

Had a bit of a thrill today meeting the domestic goddess herself, and getting my well thumbed copy of Feast signed. I became pitifully starstruck and as you can see here, a bit pink and giddy...

While I was there I spotted a few books that I crave. I know they say don't judge a book by it's cover, but I just can't help it, you know what I mean:

So pretty!

So tomorrow I am on a mission to find the perfect pumpkin, and are venturing to the potting shed. Looking at their website, I think we might be on to a winner! I'll keep you posted x

yoo-hoo, me again!!! I didn't even notice the fabric when I was admiring the lovely Nigella - blimey!!!! Now, there are 2 things that are my most favourite in all the world (yes, above my children and husband as well!) - 1. Liberty 2. Needlecord (am I dropping hints about dolls and dresses? Too bloomin' right I am!)
I'll leave you in peace ;)
